I just wanted to know if the Evo VIII cam gears would fit the IX? and also you cant "mix and match" camshafts for ex: Since the exhaust cam from an VIII fits the IX..I can use a 272 that I have for the exhaust side and buy a GSC 280 intake cam and use them toghter?

yes, the exhaust cam of the 8 will fit the 9. if you have mail in flash (or will not get custom tuned) you might want to think about tuning with mix match cams...

Mechanically it will fit the Ex cam GEAR of the IX. I take it that you want one for adjustability.

Get the Cosworth MIVEC EVO 9 cams. Cam gears are not necessary.
Thanx guys, I already have 272's and I have Cam Gears for my Evo VIII that I just bought, but right before I was going to install it, I decided I wanted to sell the VIII and get a IX before they are all gone! I was trying to sell them but if no one wanted the cam gears I was just seeing if I could put the on the IX!
