That is possible, but I'm always trying to improve.

Nez, why are you reacting so negatively and harshly? You have an awesome setup - I thought I already said that more than once. In fact, that is probably my dream setup for my future road racing, but I don't plan on spending that much dough for a while. I concentrated on suspension, wheels, and tires this off-season in preparation for my first competition-level road racing next season with NASA/SCCA. I don't remember us clashing - is it the time you've spent with Dryad that has made you bitter towards me or something? I just don't see why you would respond like this to my comment - your response in no way fits what I've said, so it's a bit confusing. I don't see why you'd sell your car just because a 3065 + 2.0 is not PERFECT for road racing. You have a 2.3 + 3065, which IS perfect...because it's not about top-end, it's about low-end and mid-range torque, which is exactly what you have now.

Ok, i take it back then, the 3065 is not the perfect setup with the 2.0, Im in no way bitter.

Edit* I have lots of things in the real world to worry about over internet arguing with people i haven't met. I wouldn't give you credit for making my day a little worse! so no worries.

You don't have to be below 3500 for what I'm saying to matter, but it does happen. Just being below 4500rpm would still have a negative effect when comparing a 3065+2.0 vs stock turbo. Anyway, the less shifts the better, so keeping it in one main gear for the majority of the time would be very difficult with a big turbo on a 2.0. You know this stuff if you road race frequently.

I think my current maturity level reflects a long day of crunching numbers and dealing with employees, so i guess i should say sorry for hijacking the thread with other off topic talk.

Anyways, Buschur over ATP any day of the week no matter what turbo your talking about.

From the choices, go FP3065 without second thought. Do it right the first time.

wow this thread started to turn into a pissing fight. haha. well anyway there are many good points here about lag and what not. i feel as though it wouldnt be that difficult to keep the car in the power range with the 3065 for road racing. i mean what we dont win in the tight turns we make up for in the strights. personally i dont think any turboed car with any type of lag would be ideal for any type of tight turned track. but hey im not going crazy with the competeing thing here, i just want good power and a fun car that i can take to the track when i want a big smile. so the fp3065 would fit me perfectly.

ps that open wastegate sounds NASTY! i love it.

IMO the lower the boost setting the louder it is. Nez runs at 22-23psi daily and the few times Ive been in his car it's loud as hell. Then Ill switch to my car and the wastegate seems to be a lot quieter. Once I get a video camera Ill take some in car video of the difference. Anyone know why this is?

the burschur kit you need a LICP and a new downpipe unless you got one. The atp kit comes with a downpipe and LICP that fit to a stock intercooler or any aftermarket one. The ATP kit isn't bad and the quality is good.
