ATP 30R vs BUSCHUR FP3065

like the title says. this is my delema. i want all the opinions. these are my current power mods

Buschur 3” turbo back with test pipe

Aem intake

Forge diverter valve

Hallman mbc

255 walbro fuel pump

Megan o2 housing

Megan exhaust manifold

Custom dynoflash

NGK BR8ES

780 cc Buschur injectors

20g-9-5 Buschur turbo w/10.5 hotside

Buschur deluxe FMIC with lower piping

HKS 272 Intake and Exhaust cams

i will be running a flash not AEM EMS so take that into consideration.

the atp kit is $2399 the buschur kit is $3000
both proven
i can keep my exhaust manifold with the atp

Drop the 30 series turbo and go 35r. Thats all! You will not regret it.

my goal is 400whp on a dynojet with 93 octane. and i know a 30R will do that no prop where as a 35R will but with more lag.

You know my answer....i love this turbo. I would say one of the major differences is that the 3065 is built from a 35r compressor and turbine housing. While the turbine wheel is almost the same as a 30r the compressor wheel is the same as the 35r. I dont think the ATP 30r kit is capable of making as much power with this kind of response.

Edit* someone correct me if im wrong.

bro i love your car! wow! i want to do one of the 2 soon but i am currently on a stock clutch with 23,000 miles on it. i was hopeing (prob not going to happen) that the clutch would hold for at least a little while b4 i had to replace it because of the power. it has held no prob so far with about 380whp on a dynojet. what do u think?

ps. i have never launched my car.

probably buschur gt30r is the way to go for you. FP3065 only spool 2-300 rpm earlier then 30r but 30r make more power with the same price.

Anybody has pics of their engine bay with buschur kit? i want to see how stock looking it is, since i live in CA

thanks

Just a little FYI in here. If you ever wanted to upgrade the 3065 is only costs $700. This will get you the FP "35r" or 3575 CHRA and turbines.

masurie2- search for 3065 and Im sure there will be quite a few threads on it, including pictures.

i think u are wrong. the 30R is a tad bit smaller than the FP3065. its right on Buschur's web site.

I think Buschur only uses FP housings now on their 30 and 35 kits.

drop the atp I am modding mine to be not an atp lol, I amchanging the hotside, header and DP, so save money and time and just get a kit already put together. Do searches on ATP and you will se they spool slow, have low TQ numbers, and dont get the power they should. I bought my car with mine installed I am glad I dident pay for it lol.

Even for pump gas the 3065 is awesome! It REALLY wakes up once you go beyond 25 psi though. I turned it up to 30 psi and its still the quickest car i have been in. Another option if your mostly on pump is a 50 trim kit, they make awesome hp and tq numbers. you have to remmeber that the 3065,35r,37r are making there big power on race fuel and/or meth.
