Thread Hi-jacked!^

My opinion is the same as most on here, you bought the big turbo and you tuned it on pump gas (91 at that). Let it breath! Meth would be my number 1 choice in this scenerio if I lived in Cali. Come to think of it, that is going to be my next mod If you wanted pump gas numbers you should have not bought the big turbo.

NOW GO GET A METH KIT!

Yes it can but mine does not. Which is what I said. Precision can actually make you a custom turbo. Mine has the 61 AR.

On my particular setup I hit peak at around 4800 which is not too bad. My friend with the 35r hits at 5500.

No, the thread is about the lack of power 4cefed made with a 35r on pump gas, not what setup your going with on your car.

^The reason why he is saying that is cause you asked a question about your needs when this is in a thread that is about a seperate question for someone else. Granted its about turbos but thats a generlization. If you have a seperate question then post a thread so we can address that separate issue.

Alfred is a decent tuner but you are puddhing the capabilities of the stock computer,a nf if the MAF, Injectors, and Load tables aren't scaled correclty you won't make the power. I've been fighting with getting mine to run properly for almost 6 weeks now. and i've decided to go with a ems.

Tunning Tech uses a dynojet 424 not a dyno dynamics
he has a AEM

wow this is really not what I was expecting... all I was saying is that I was expecting higher numbers on this turbo on pump. I am running pump only right now because the motor isn't built this is not going to be a forever thing, then I was going to tune it for race gas. My project is INCOMPLETE... maybe I should have said that before warrtalon so politely called me a idiot. How can I visually confirm this is the turbo that I ordered, how can you tell if it BB?
Does anyone here agree that those are low numbers for pump??
Yes TT has a dyno jet not a dyno dynamics. Well I guess my next question is who has the best meth kit? FYI The next person that calls me gay is going to catch *** whoopin ..we all have evos and we are all on the same side, this site is so evo owners can help eachther not to be criticized for a question.

i believe 400whp from pump gas on a T04R should be easily attainable. without meth. forget meth for a second and lets look at why is the T04R making sh1tty numbers by itself on 91. it should make more. its a very large turbo and should easily make his goal of 400 on 91.

now meth is his option after he made his 400whp, yes he knows that. but the stock turbo with meth can make 373whp on 91.

i say send the turbo back and tell them they suck. that is a 4000 dollar kit or so and it made crap numbers. throw it out.

Dude you bought a turbo that wants to see boost. You put all this money into the car, and you cant even put meth on it? You want to tune on CRAP cali 91 octane (I have first hand experience with this sh|t gas trying to tune) and make tons of horsepower? Seriously someone needs to backhand you. Someone posted earlier in another thread "you have to pay to play". Thats so true. Take your happy a$$ to the pump, put at LEAST 2 gallons of 100 every fill up and go back to alfred. Im sure you would be much happier and it would cost you like an extra $4.00 per fill up. That or buy meth. Meth is even easier. Your being gay.
damn...your bieng gay huh? wow. you are a really tough guy and you obviously know everything.
this thread is rediculous everyones posts are talking crap, where is the professionalism? at least be mature about your posts. its not like he is blasting anyone.

OK. Then I agree the numbers seem low.

You will know if your turbo is BB by listening to it after the car shuts down. It you can still hear it spinning then you know it is ball bearing. Good luck w/ the numbers; I'm sure once you boost this turbo to an efficient PSI 26+ it will make much better numbers
