Unhappy 373 whp and 313 trq.....UNHAPPY

Well I just got my car back and the numbers were disappointing and was in no way the tuners fault I blame the turbo 100%, those numbers were made at Tuning Technologies...which just happens to be the best ******* shop for a evo in Cali, ALfred is the ****. So I have a turbo which was supposed to be a lil bit bigger than the 35r so i was expecting to make atleast 400 whp on 91 oct, but i was a lil shy and now i am pissed. SO back to the drawing board. I drive this car everyday and it is a stock block for now.. I plan on building a high revving 2.0, all i want is 400+ whp on pump and low 10's on race gas, full street trim evo. SO please help me out I was thinking of getting the precision 37r, any suggestions could help. Thanks in advance

supporting mods I have already..
AEM with innovate wideband
1000 cc inj
ported intake manifold and 65 mm TB
HKS 272's

sorry to hear your unhappy but might I make a suggestion... go to the drag strip and see what kind of MPH you get with your current tune. You might be suprised to find out that the dyno numbers seem lower compared to the MPH you run.

yeah I have RnR turbo back and a Nisei intercooler, and it is a Peakboost T04R kit... another question I need a new muffler to smooth out my exhaust note, the bullet muffler is burnt out i think sounds tingy. I have a hks carbon Ti muffler lying around but i don't know if that will be quiet enough. keep the sugestions coming guys.

a t04r is a 67mm compressor much like the 37r you want to purchase.

Alfred is a decent tuner but you are puddhing the capabilities of the stock computer,a nf if the MAF, Injectors, and Load tables aren't scaled correclty you won't make the power. I've been fighting with getting mine to run properly for almost 6 weeks now. and i've decided to go with a ems.

Have you looked at the compressor maps for the two turbos? It may be that the 'bigger' turbo is at a lower efficiency point at your flowrate and boost pressure as compared to your previous turbo.

Well heres the deal bud. I made about 400wheel on pump on a precision sc61 turbo on a 2.3stroker however this was on the stock ecu, stock head, stock intake manifold, stock tb, and only on 880injectors- read my sig.

I think the numbers you got were a little low for wht you have but not too far off. WHat fuel did you use to tune? Also I am assuming there are no boost leak? And was your car advancing timing? What did your maps look like?

Alfred at tuning tech knows what the hell hes doing. Hell he got me my numbers and was the first one to make over 500wheel on the stock ecu on a 9. So I am sure it has to do with how the car is running at this point. Because my turbos ar housing is smaller than a 35r and if you are running close to a 37 then thats odd.
