Just not true. The stock bolts hold fine. Those who promote then also sell them and make money off of them. Believe me if there were a lot of people lifting their heads due to stock head bolts there would be ton's of threads about it. Is it a good upgrade? Yes, but only if you are willing to take the head off and do it. The failure rate is just too low to justify it. The only person that I know who lifted his head on stock bolts was a direct result of a crazy tune with like 26 degrees of advance at 7200 RPM. Crazy high cylinder pressure and that is what caused the problem not running high boost on a "good" tune. If you are going to run a tune that far out on the edge buy all means due the head studs, but you are going to have bigger problems to worry about down the raod.

They only make about 10 bucks on this part you might want to know that before you say someone is just trying to push a part.

If you have a built motor you think that the builder would let you run stock studs hell no. Why dont you look up the specs on the stock studs then arp or the ams studs then post it up and show me that im wrong please so i can put the stock studs back on my 800whp car please prove me worng so i can make some money back from the 30 grand i spent.
