Car hops in 1st gear

yeah that is correct. The motor mounts are on the front, passenger and rear side. There is one transmission mount on the driver side. All of them except the driver side mount come off when doing a clutch job though. At least I had to take them off the last 2 times i did it.

??? Sounds like they are trying to make a quick buck off you. That is total BS. I had my OEM flywheel resurfaced for an ACT clutch and am not experiencing any of these problems. So perhaps your machine shop is inept and the flywheel wasn't resurfaced properly.

Looks like 3 engine mounts to me? The 4th "engine mount" is referred to as a transaxle mount in the Mitsubishi manual.
the only mount that attaches to the block is the last picture. The other 3 mounts attach to the tranny.

i had that happend to me when my car used to hop in first gear..but then i bought weapon r engine dampering kit..an it work good for me..the car doesnt hop..well thats for me..
