Was this a tune or just a Dyno? I remember you had your car tuned by Scott Gray. Did you not like that tune?

Dyno + Tune. Let's just say that I'm not running Gray's tune anymore.

I'm not sure of a 50 trim out here (maybe someone bought Buschur's?), but RoadRace Engineering has a nice 3076 kit that would be very interesting against the FPGreen. The Green would certainly beat it on spool (peak at around 4500 on the RR 3076), but my guess would be that peak power is higher on the RR kit.

RRE also has a BB 50trim you can bolt to the HAFE manifold. There may be someone to directly compare to in SoCal.

The graph on the RRE 3076 kit wasn't on pump gas I heard. Either way your making good power from your previous 3076 kit. How does it feel to have instant power? =)

You would know! As I've said before, this is the best stock-appearing turbo (of which I am aware) that money can buy.

Interesting thread. Good seeing you at TTech Scott. Get that boost control ironed out so we can see where you max out on 91. Also, do you have any plans to go for a max boost-type tune

Well if you want PD1 we should make the " green attack " video. See how many cars we can rack up together lol. I just put 5-6 cars on a bolt on GTO the new ones.

Interesting. I'm looking forward to your results. I know from discussions on the NorCal boards that, to a degree, you've shared my 20G skepticism over the years so I'm definately optimistic about this turbo's potential if you are. Do you think you would have gone this same route if you weren't tuning for Mike right now? In other words, are you doing these tests for business or pleasure.

It's both honestly. The "business" price for sure helps with the decision but I'm actually interested to see what it will do here in California on the heart breaker dyno.

It's also the first "real" stock hybrid turbo in my book since both wheels are larger. The data I have seen so far is promising.

We'll see soon won't we.
