Clutch Tranny Motor Mount or what

New car 1400 miles on it STOCK as a new born baby

I cant seem to shift smoothly, makes me feel like I cant drive stick PS BY FAR NOT MY FIRST MANUAL or first evo

Anyways as soon as I shift I feel (and hear) a slight clunk I mean slight. It doesnt happen all the time but actually seems to happen more as it warms up (most probs with others are the other way around).

The pedal engagement seems to be at the VERY end of release and to shift smooth I have to slip the clutch WHICH I HATE, or change gears very slowly holding the clutch in at the very end or I get chatter judder and slip. Especially happens when turning and engaging into 2nd I get a CLUNK then shift, release clutch, then there is a delay then the car goes

Ive narrowed it down to

clutch pedal adjustment
clutch gone (dont know how)
motor tranny mounts loose
air in clutch lines
cv joints

oh plus I get a loud whine in reverse

Any Info is appreciated!!!!!

Mine did it when I first got the car. The clunk, for me, usually occurred if I released the clutch too quick when shifting. Either it quit doing it, or I got better at shifting.

are you downshifting to 2nd when you get the clunk? if so you need to rev match

I do it sometimes myself. its normal if you are putting the car in gear withouth applying any gas when going into the low gears you can hear the clutch/drive axle engadge. its a pinging sound sometimes.. i could wrong though......

have you removed the clutch line restrictor pill yet? it definitely gives you more of a feel for the engagement point.

no I havent but it seems the engagement point on clutch is still way to high.

It either over revs and slips or I feel a clunk

You need to adjust the clutch pedal. Theres write ups for it, just do a search. Im too lazy right now lol. Clutch should engage about halfway up or so, if your coming all the way out thats too far. Ive heard alot of new evo's need clutch adjusted.
