exedy rebuild q's

Just curious, maybe this is just a silly question, but... Is there any way to purchase two CARBON discs to rebuild the standard Exedy Ceramametallic Twin??

Also does anyone know any good vendors who have the rebuild kits either carbon or ceramic...?

Thanks in Advance

Im not sure if you can buy kits to rebuild them but you might be able to call Exedy and send it in to them to be rebuilt for cheaper then what it would cost to buy a new one

I was aware of the ability to convert a twin into a triple (there is a thread about this in the advanced section) and the ability to rebuild the cerametallics. But I thought the carbon/carbon clutches were not rebuildable...but dont take that as gospel..just hearsay.

I was told by Matt Gold when I bought my Twin Disk that they are rebuildable. The plates and disks are available seperately for sale. I don't know about the carbon disk swap/upgrade. Call or PM Matt. He's very knowledgeable when it comes to Exedy clutches.

Evotio is right. I spoke with Matt before abt rebuildin the twin disc (not the carbon type) i think it cost abt 500 to rebuild it, not too sure.
