I think what he was trying to say is that a MLS gasket cannot form itself to surface abberations, and therefore wants to see mating surfaces with an RA32 or finer finish. It looks as though you have something different (lots of swirls). A leakdown test is fine for diagnosing big leaks, but isn't representative of the actual cylinder pressures of a running engine, and won't typically expose this type of issue. This has nothing to do with 'great people' a 'great team', etc., but is important information specific to using a MLS gasket.

Will it cause a problem? I'd say probably not, but it's possible. If it does, you'll be looking at basically rebuilding the engine again ($$) for no reason other than to address a gasket surface.

AAhhhh Still havent gotten all the kinks worked out, but ya... its getting there slowly but surly. I have more pics but i rather post them all up at once once its all done.
