changing boost levels on the strret

if I set my car for low boost , lest say 8PSI for daily driving I read somewhere i need a tune for that correct? - so if i raise the boost to 21psi at the track for the day I need to tune prior? or did i read wrong?

why in the world would you not daily drive at 21psi? do you have a honda or something?

u cant run below 11 psi... wtf are u thinking?


stock the cars run about 20.... on the ix's many people run 23 psi.

stick with 22 psi and youre set. on a track day u can back it down to 20 if u really want to. or you can just add a gallon or 2 of some 110.

ok well why would you want to? their in no level of safety that a proper tune at 21-22 psi cannot give you and you would have very little power at 11 psi. Why buy an evo then?

I belive on a stock WG you cannot go less than 14 psi or so. The WG wont let you. Just get a custom tune or flash for your mods and favorite 91-93octane and daily drive, drag race, auto-x, or road race at 21 psi and get the full potential of your car dont sell yourself short or sell it and buy a civic.

thanks for the response, you are right that makes sense. ( I had a civic already - EP3 2005)
