I wish you wouldn't just say crap like this and leave people hanging. Tell me how it fits; with the coupler that comes with the injen kit?

There is no reason to play hard to get on EvoM, nobody here wants to hook up with Batman...

Hey Koe, im planning to run a aem intake with my atp setup. The only thing additionally ill be doing to the intake (if it works) is buy also a 45 degree 3" silicone coupler connected to the aem intake pipe and then just couple it to a piece of 3" scrap exhaust pipe to connect to my 4-3" reducer. Another option I've been considering is Dejon powerhose intake pipe which is actually 3" for our Mas and then expand to 4" inlet to connnect to our Atp turbo's

Check it out it maybe be a good solution/idea for what your looking for.

The Dejon intake pipe is a good find. That is exactly what i'm looking for. It seems to look short enough to work with the ATP turbo... Do you know if it was made specificaly for or do you have any proof of it fitting ATP turbos?

Bump.

Definatly interested in Injen, just would like to know how it's done. I would wrather not just use a reducer coupler right infront of the turbo, i don't think it would like that.

Also wondering if the Dejon is proven to fit before i purchase it.

I'm only sure it will work since i dont/havent physically bought the pipe yet. I know for my atp its 4" at the turbo inlet so i figure dejon's inlet would match up perfectly. As for fitment once installed i guess ill have to be the guinea pie. I dont think it will be that bad considering i can buy some silicon coupler in a longer length if needed in case the couplers gotta flex a little bit once put in.

K you're right. I just think that intake pipe is made for Garrett t3 turbo upgrade on Evos in general, and turbo placement from most turbo kits is way different than ATP's turbo placement; therefore putting the intake in a very wrong place. Though in the picture it looks no different than any other intake pipe for the stock turbo, which is where ATP turbos are placed, so i don't think it will be THAT big of an issue. Plus, there is a pretty large area where the intake filter can sit anywhere.

I'll be the test dummy, i'm buying it right now.

Damn you beat me to it lol. PLease keep us updated as to how it turns out. Ive gotta wait until payday comes. Dont forget if need be to buy a hump hoe 4" siclicon coupler if you need to as well as a 3" hump hose silicon coupler if need be that way you've got some flex in the connections if theres some need for soem flexing once you put it in.

Can you link to some of these hoses/connectors you speak of? I will definatly let you know if i end up needing to modify it some way.

Another ATP tubo kit owner i know had a custom 4" intake pipe made, but his hit the fan on one side of the intake, and the other side rubbed the tranny; and this rubbed right where it connected to the turbo... Hopefully this Dejon piece has been tested to actually fit reasonably...

I think I might have something.

What size is the OD of the compressor inlet?
what size is the ID of the stock intake pipe?

The injen intake reduces down to fit the stock turbo. All you need is a straight connector (if your turbo is 3") to fit it to the turbo. Or if your turbo has a 4" inlet, then you need a 4"-3" reducer which will also work fine.
