Not quite yet, we keep having problems mounting up the turbo/manifold/downpipe. Things just keep breaking and causing problems...

BUT,,, When holding it up to the mounting location, while using the stock manifold it definatly appears that getting a coupler over the turbo inlet is going to be next to impossible. It should clear the radiator fan though.

I decided that i am going to make a seperate thread about my 2 week long horrid install, and include all the pics in there. I will post the link in here and prolly PM it to a few of you as well.

That being said, i should be able to wrap it up tomorow night, so wish me luck! (assuming everything falls into place... Which wont happen)

Make sure to connect the downpipe to the turbo v-band BEFORE you mount the manifold/turbo to the block; otherwise the downpipe won't fit in there, believe me we tried... A lot... And not sure if this was just us, but the AC feed condensor line coming from the compressor was definatly in the way.

Oh and for me my 02 was seized in my stock 02 housing, so that doesn't make things easy...

And don't tighten the oil feed fitting that goes into the head, with anything but your hand. It is an impossible fitting to find if broken... And if breaks VERY easily. I don't think mine was even threaded all the way in when it snapped.

Oh and my studs wouldn't come out of the stock turbo's hotside, so i had to go buy new bolts; of which took a road trip to find the correct grade... Then one of these bolts broke into the new turbos hotside; and is pending being machined out.

And then we had to plasma cut off my front tow hook to fit the LICP...

But i must admit, the downpipe fits like a glove.

That's all i can think of right now, i'm sure there is more i can't remember right now.

I'm still working on wraping things up, but fyi my intake pipe doesn't fit for ****. It's too long... We forced it, but it's definatly at a weird angle. I would strongly suggest going with a 4"-3" reducing coupler and using an intake that is designed for the stock turbo.

The car is up and running, but leaking oil like no other. We thought it was from the oil return fitting that is mounted on the oil pan, but odviously we were wrong because we sealed that ***** as good as is possible, and it's still leaking; though not as much.

And ummm, that's all i got for now.

Pics and write-up will come AFTER the car actually is daily drivable again and i have time to live life normally.

first off, what intake r u running that it doesnt fit? second off i have an apointment to get mine installed and tuned the 16th at Pruven performance. i cant wait. i have the AEM instake that is designed to fit the stock turbo location and also have a 4-3" reducer that came with the kit. so everything should fit as planned. other then the LCIP, that which they are going to fab something up for me.

Hey so where's your oil leaking at? from going into/out of the turbo , the oil pan connections, at the head oil fittings? Well i figure the intake part id do from automotosports air filter & adapter for $60 and some kinda intake pipe maybe a hks knock off from ebay for like $60 can't beat that in price i guess. If not then ill just go stock look a like with a samco or perrin intake tube for easier install matchup's sake. Still gotta get on up off my lazy a$$ and port the damned hotside when i get to it /fell like it lol. Ill post in this thread how it goes once i put in mine as well possibly next week
