from your thread title it would seem that going big isnt what you are describing.. why not go meth with the green turbo or 50trim... those with supporting bolt on mods that Buschur uses in his 1-4 stages seem to be the best fit.. I am doing the exact same thing, but with my 04 evo 8, all bolt on mods to include FP green turbo.. My numbers will be around 370-400whp on 93 - 104 octane... no meth, being that no one tunes with meth in Germany.. Good luck though..

Yeah I keep hearing how bad it is I do know that it is bad for the longevity of the motor and reliability.. That's why I haven't decided what to do yet.. But meth has come to mind... But then again I would rather do it with a turbo instead of meth.. Meth is cheaper tho =P

I'm sure most of the currently available meth kits are very safe and I've seen some pics on here that look great - for me it is an option to consider if I want to go the 400hp level. Of course I would rather do it with a turbo.

You could go the race gas method and get a pump gas tune @ 21 psi and a race gas tune @ 25psi. I think Al is doing this but I dont know the specifics of switching between the maps. Do you reflash whenever you switch, or do they both reside in the ECU? How would you trigger the switch, anyhow Al or whoever tunes your car can probably tell you.

Also, I could be wrong about this but it's my understanding the 35r is not a great pump gas turbo because it doesnt reach optimal VE until like 30psi? I'm sure it would make decent power on pump but if this is a street car you might consider the increased lag, etc. Seems to me like a 50trim is a great street car turbo but it's an expensive way to go and you CAN go big for about the same price. Drivability will suffer if you go big though.

Recks was this on a evo 8 or 9?

here a little info of my set up.

Evo 9 MR with Bolts on + Buschur 20G-LT + GSC S1 cams + tune by Tuning Technologies on stock ECU.

380whp/330lbs at 22lbs on straight 91 octane.

302 with the 20G? is it with the new 20G-LT?

I personally feel that green is a good turbo upgrade that doesn't cost much. There going to be another friend of mine with a evo 9 doing bolts on with the green turbo and cossworth cams.

Doesn't dyno dynamic read lower then a dynojet? Cause mine was on a dynojet.

I dunno, I don't see any 50 Trim evo on 91 gas before. I compair my dyno with other 3076 running 91 gas and power is smiliar. Plus the green graph is much better since I hit full boost like my stock evo 9 turb. =)

Bro...can you tell me your exact mod you got in your car and what kind of ECU/ flash you are using. Maybe you can pm me or something!! I am really interested in how you reached 380 whp on 91 octane??? I am trying to get to that HP# so your input on parts would help alot. Thanks in advance .

He has a front mount injectors fuel pump 20g and gsc s1's cams.. Its 380 hp on a dyno jet.. Which would end up being around 340 whp on a mustang which is what I like to reffer to when speaking of dyno's... But yeah

What are your numbers your expecting? Trust me your not going to get much out of 91. From all the 3076 and 3071, the green turbo so far outperform it on 91 octane gas.
