turboxs is NOT xspower.

TurboXS is a custom EVO core made in australia, full bar and plate with different dimensions.

The intercooler would have to be modified a little. The end tank on the driver side is different (clearance issues).

Im So Tempted To Try This Intercooler Out ............ but for a $150 who cares if it doesn't work out then i just paid a $150 for a new coffee table

FYI i remember reading something in i think Modified magazine when they did a write up on AMS car and he said that people are starting to knock off their intercooler, and also stated that the ebay intercooler might cause cooling problems for the radiator......... what you guys think?

I never had any cooling problems, I live in Miami, FL and sit in traffic all the time.
Worked fine

Regardless of what people say, nobody has ever put an Evo on a dyno with this intercooler; so we STILL have no idea if it actually works or not.

AMS stated that yes they could make a similar intercooler and sell it for the same price as the Ebay intercooler, but they pay $450 for a top of the line custom core. If you add it up, this makes the price of the AMS unit right on par... THAT is what worries me about this Ebay intercooler, it makes me think that they just left the whole entire "core" section out of the equation; sure there appears to be a core in there, but i think it's safe to assume that is doesn't function to the best of its' ability...

I remember those threads and AMS was just simply trying to protect their market for IC. If a huge turbo built motor monster can run around with a mini radiator half the size of the stock one; a stock turbo evo will NOT overheat with a different IC even if it had no fins in it.

I would say there is no chance that this IC will cause the car to overheat.
