Boost controller suggestions welcome!

What electronic boost controllers are good? I heard the Blitz is excellent along with HKS and what not. Help me out!

I like the Blitz SBC id3... but recently tried out a Forge MBC and I'm really liking the mbc better, quicker spool up

Bump for suggestions!

Does anyone have anything bad to say about the Blitz SBC ID-III? I'm also leaning leaning towards this EBC.

blitz' color unit doesn't show boost in PSI, only in bar or kpa and its very very expensive for a boost controller. i use greddy profec b spec II, it's simple and straight foward, easy to use n it does what i need it too do.

if you are in jersey, we can meet up and i can show you what ebcs are all about. yes you r paying more than mbc, but there r nice features on it that mbc don't have. warning, boost cut, high low boost settings, shows last boost, peak boost. remember ebc is also a boost gauge as well, so you just save a bunch of money on buying a boost gauge.

My friends have the aem truboost. Gauge and controller in one. Holds up to 29psi with the solenoid it comes with and up to 75psi with optional solenoid. Cant beat it for $250 shipped. Easy to use once you figure it out and has so many functions-alarm(set to your desired psi), scamble boost and scramble boost time, peak boost, a and b settings(pump gas and race gas). You can also use the wastegate spring pressure setting to stop boost taper and allow your turbo to spool earlier. I believe there are some more functions but I can't remember them off the top of my head. My one buddy had a manual boost controller before and once he got the aem squared away he was wondering why he got a manual boost controller in the first place. Its all in a 52 mm gauge so its real convient in the mounting of it as you don't have a big bulky controller to mount. The rmr carbon fiber steering wheel guage mount works real well and looks pimp. No need to spend all that dough on a electronic boost contoller when you can get the aem for half the price.

love the Greddy profec b (old style). now I think its the profec s very easy to use and the gain adjustment is very simple to use. but then the new profec b displays the boost & vac.

Quicker spool why would the ebc make spool up slower?
