Video of 644 whp EVO9 on Buschur Racing's dyno
Dyno sheet is posted in the other thread on the car, here in Engine/turbo/drivetrain.
Since there is one in every group, yes, the dyno pull is boring to watch. You know why that is? Because the car is perfect, no missing, no flames, no back firing, no clutch slipping, basically NO FREAKING drama like half the other half assed builds have on this site. So, yes, making 645 whp is boring when it is done right. Thanks for the comment, it's a compliment to me. It is snowing in Ohio, so the tracks are closed.
The exhaust is our 3.5" turbo back.
Bushwacker transmission is my brother. He has been building our transmissions for well over 12 years. Dan, my brother, runs the service side of our shop. He also pilots the world's fastest EVO8

I usually shift my Buschur motor at 10,000 rpms and launch it at 7,000 so there is no lag when it falls down to about 7,300 rpms between shifts !
i have nothing but respect for buschur racing and the crew but why do you guys get all excited about building high hp cars. It should be expected by now. I mean you dont see other big evom propaganda sponsered companies gloating about every car that they build. I dont know, i might be a bit intoxicated but i think you guys are better then that. Then dynoflahs comes in and backs up everything you say, like words from the master (david buschur) arent enough.
just saying.
just saying.
Ibanez, I agree with what you said about 'it should be expected by now" and that "words from the master (david buschur) should be enough" but the excitement you hear in the video is me, not them. I've waited for 1 1/2 years since deciding to build another 'perfect beast' and seeing it come to fruition is exciting to me. I'm sure my excitement created a certain amount of excitement for them. Also, I know for a fact, that Buschur has built MANY high hp cars that don't get exposure like this one has, such as Nick's car in Atlanta I think. I apologize if it sounds like it's something special or out of the ordinary, but it is to me. I guess I'm just intoxicated by the results. We know that 700 Buschur whp is only a tweak away, and that doesn't happen every day. tom
9sec9, your car is a true testament to a great shop. It should be ridiculously fast on pump/meth and unreal on race gas. Enjoy it!! You went to the best shop IMO should be good for 9's@145mph+ good luck with it.
