i just got my brand new evo the other day, his car runs 11.8, what is it gonna take for me to run 12 flat or better?

warrtalon is the only one i know thats ran 12 flat... otherwise its impossible

 

gunna be different if its a 9 or an 8 i beleive a 9 can do it with intake exhaust MBC and i nice flash but the 8 needs some cams and a fuel pump i belive. but it think it be closer to 12.3 ish but i am new to the evo world haha

 

You won't need much to hit high 11's.....TBE, o2 housing, LICP, and a tune at ~25.5 psi should do it.....If you want to be sure, get an Aquamist Meth kit and turn boost up to like 28 psi peak....

you can go into 11s with very little money and without nos... Just search...

tip: check the drag racing section. many guys post their results along with their mods...

should cost about $3,680 and you will be running really close to 12.0 providing you know how to drive.

$1350 - Evolution Stage 1 w/ Highflow Cat and Bullet Muffler
$ 630 - Evolution Stage 2 w/ No BOV
$1300 - Evolution Stage 3 w / Deluxe FMIC
$ 400 - Evolution Stage 4 w/ 680cc Injectors

If you want to waste him, add a 20G-LT and you will be running solid 11's. ($1,700)

Then an AEM EMS and a Meth Kit and a Clutch should get you low 11's ($3500)

Works and Gruppe-S have some similar packages, and so do some other vendors.

You should try reading some other posts and see what works and what doesn't.

 

Don't forget to use Royal Purple on your muffler bearing .
Drops your times another .1 or .2

Oh almost forgot...Aluminum magnets around the intake manifold for better air turbulence.

stock for stock,evo9 is faster than the evo8...
