bend over
I think if you have some time on your hands tackling this stuff by yourself would be worth the time & money. Evom has some great DIY install info, and installing basic bolt-ons isn't rocket science.

I totally agree with this statement. I try to tackle as many things as I can do by myself comfortably.....but if I'm not sure about an install, I'll gladly pay a competent shop to do it.
Yeah to the person asking about the mod list, just make up your mind and pick whatever intake to go with, pick a boost controller, and the biggest decision would be choosing between an AEM EMS standalone ECU or a plain ol Flash....
I know there are alot of great shops out there, but I have no expierence with them, so no disrespect to anyone. BUT, I have done my complete build with TTrix. If you were there yesterday, you probably saw my car as it is there now for part 3 of the build. As far as listing items twice, I'm sure it was just a mistake or typo with no intent to take advantage of anyone. That place gets pretty crazy sometimes. I have done my car in three steps ( so far) with TTrix and I couldn't be more pleased. When I first started, I tried to go it alone and I began with the Vishnu setup. Then I had a local shop do a few a mods and Exedy twin plate carbon clutch which only lasted 900 miles ( faulty Install??? ) Then I realized that it all needed to be tuned to work properly, so that meant a third shop. I just bit the bullet and decided before I waste any more money, I'm going to go to a full service shop that can advise, install and tune. I went to TTrix and I have been very pleased ever since. They built the car with the BB50trim and all supporting mods. It is very strong and reliable. Now I am having the tranny done and a few other goodies. Did I pay a high price? I dont really know as I have never compared. The reason I haven't compared is that I firmly believe that I got an extremly good value for my dollar. I believe that there is no such thing as good and cheap....it is either GOOD or CHEAP. Everything i have ever done in my life that has been cheap, I have had to do over again. I built my car, with their advice over 3 years. Every winter she goes down for a few more things. IMO the main thing is to not waste money. In my case I bought things that are now sitting in my cellar. Go to them, or whomever you choose, tell them your plans, goals and budget and work toward it without spending on things you dont need. IMO if your going to trust someone to work on your car, you should be able to trust them with your budget also. Personally, I send TTrix money all year long and build up a credit there, then it is not so big of a bill when the car goes in. They have always been very honest and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them!!!!
