he means having you car tuned, not a tune-up. Get a manual boost controller or an electronic one with overboost protection.

Hallman Pro Rx with the ceramic ball.
Before anything you will need a tune to remove the fuel cut you are experiencing.
Cold air, dense charge from the fmic and the turbo back 3" exhaust are all contributing your problems. The stock ecu is programmed to allow a specific amount of load (maf reading), then it will cut the fuel and ignition depending on the severity of overboost.

if you are looking for a manual boost controller, go with the hallman like the guy above stated, or forge UNOS. Now are you recirculating the BOV or venting it to the atmosphere? cause if you are venting to atmosphere, its going to cause all sorts of problems.

Step one put your stock BOV back in.
Step two buy a Hallman boost controller
Step three send your ecu to this guy www.dynoflash.com

Also here is a link to the "how too" section of this forum. It will tell you where your ECU is and how to take it out. Also how to install your new Hallman boost controller. These are both very easy to do. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/evo-how-tos-installations-82/

Because our cars use a MAF to read the air that is coming into the engine and when your BOV throws that air back into the atmosphere the ECU still thinks that air is going into the engine and adds fuel for it. So the results are when your BOV vents that air out is more fuel which will make you run rich inbetween shifts which will slow you down and at it will make your car idle bad.
