tricking the o2 sensor with catless exhaust??

Question tricking the o2 sensor with catless exhaust??

im thinking about to install a testube to get rid of the stock cat. (yes i know its not leagal). i herd that it also throws a check engine when you do so?? is there like a extensions you put on the o2 sensor after the cat so it does not read as much??

You can use spark plug foulers to do that, or you can do what i did and get an ultimate racing test pipe,no cel guaranteed!

the spark plug anti-foulers didn't work for me, I had to go with the Perrin electronic version. More costly, but it works.

You could get the ultimate racing test pipe. It comes with a bung welded on it for the cel fix and its pretty cheap to. $75

I too have the UR test pipe. Only thing I dont like is that you have to extend the o2 wiring so its not easy to reverse or 'hide' when you have to do a temp return to stock. If ya know what I mean.

Ive done the spark plug antifoulers on both my VIII and IX w/ no CEL...Id try that first before the simulator...just my .02c
