forged divter valve fix a lot of problems

i was running the stock plastic diverter valve untill i changed to the foprged rs today. much to my surprised this fix manny slight problems.

1 before my idel would range from 800-950 very slightly and every 10 secounds or so would go over 1k rpm. now the idle is solid at 850rpm and does not more more than +/- 50rpm

2 there was a preatty big loop at idel from the hks 272's now the loop is much less and its much harder to tell the car has cams now. before it was very loopy.

3. most important it stoped my stalling issues. at very part throttle low speed the car would stall if you more up a little and stoped. if you were stoped up a hil and more up a little and hit the clutch back dpwn before you were even completely off the slutch the car would run pig ritch shoot a little black smoke and stall.
i always thought before the staling issue was because of my hks intake.
now the slight stalling issues are 100% gone

also boost went up about 2 psi. i was running 20psi before and not its at 22psi. so the stock valve was leaking. I'm running the blue spring by the way

i sugest anyone running the plastic bov to get rid of it. ever if you at stock boost. it should be the first mod anyone should do
the stock plastic bov is JUNK

I am using the forge RS to, works good for me. I use the blue spring also. Do you use any washers in yours?

Your stock BOV must have had a bad leak/crack!

The forge RS doesnt come with any springs. I think your talking about the older forge bov. The RS adjusts from the knob on top.

Correct, the RS just uses one single spring and is adjusted with the knob at the top of the valve.

It's our Evo15 valve that uses multiple springs and a couple washers to adjust preload.

I'm happy it worked out for you!

Mike, if there is a lot of flutter at partial throttle with the blue spring @ 21 psi and other springs don't work, what's the fix?
