rear o2 sensor for evo 9

hi guys, ive searched and havent found a definate reply on this.

my rear o2 sensor is finished, it was hitting against the body of the car and severed the wires on it so its cactus.

i need a replacement one but there seems to be a few part numbers.

my car had a 4 wire (blue, white, 2 blacks) sensor while others built around the same time use a 3 wire.

can i use a universal o2 sensor, does anyone have a part number?
i dont mind having to solder the wires together, my wires are already cut.

is there a generic denso one (my factory one is denso)?

the replacement one from the dealer here is almost 300us!

i need to put one in to get rid of this damn cel!

thanks

hey i cut my wires too and went to Autobarn and bought a $60 bosch 4 wire sensor and it worked so yes a uniersal one will work. the factory 300$ one is crazy.

the cel might not go away though unless you use the spark plug antifouler to bring the sensor farther away..search for the spark plug anitfouler threads
