Apexi SAFC

Does anybody know how to install SAFC for evo. Is there a wire diagram on where everything goes. Or is there a harness out for it. Please help trying to hook it up tomorrow. THanks

Hmm.. I have heard that the wiring diagram in the apexi manual for the 2G Mitsubishi eclipse is the same for these few connections.. But do your research, I'm not 100% certain. I got the S-AFC from Buschur racing which supplied installation instructions specifically for the Evo.. There is a link to an ECU Diagram that I posted from http://www.roadraceengineering.com/e...-ecuwiring.htm

This should be everything you need.. If you compare it to the Eclipse, its probably the same..

What other mods do you have in your EVO? What's your experience so far with the SAFC?

Thanks

I actually don't have anything "Perminently installed" on my Evo yet.. But Most of my experience comes from other cars.. I do have an S-AFC, MBC, Air Filter, etc.. I actually only have the Air filter installed at the moment. Turns out my car is a strong runner stock so I want to get it Dynoed before I do anything. I do plan on getting the Greddy Type-S Recirc BOV, Complete 3" Exhaust (Still debating on manufacturer, but I'm leaning towards Buschur at the moment, with the RMR product a close second) and Considering replacing the S-AFC with an AEM EMS (Replacement ECU) or Vishnu's Xede, once he's got his Boost addon functioning (Shiv, if you want to work with someone on the east cost, with engineering experience and tuning experience, drop me a line)

The key to going fast is carefully choosing your parts.. Slapping a bunch of stuff together really doesn't "Do the Job" I'm really impressed with Vishnu's aproach on packages, and Works approach, but because I'm pretty serious about tunability and whatnot, I'm reluctant to deal with Flashing a stock ECU unless I can tune the maps myself.
