It's back again? I thought mrdecibel proved this when he took his manifold off just to find out and it wasn't an undersized gasket. That was a month ago, when we see real proof to the contrary this tread should be killed too.

Trust me I am not excited.

My point was it's been a month and still no pics. Did you take them to a 1 hour (er 1 month) photo?

Since he won't e-mail you the pictures, how about just getting your film developed? One hour photo maybe? I would like see something that contradicts the above picture...

I beg to differ. 300bhp on 100RON fuel is a better estimate of the kind of power JDM Evo 8 is putting down at the crank.

But never mind, that's besides the point.

IMHO, you're not experiencing "turbo lag" per se. It's just purely lack of torque that makes the car lethargic below 3000rpm.

It's a 2litre, 8.8:1 compression. And you're comparing it to a NA with 2.5litre 10:1 compression.

I don't own Evo (yet ) but from what I hear, the Evo is VERY VERY good in terms of (lack of) turbo lag.

IMHO, get a lightened flywheel. That would cure the "lag" (NOT turbo lag).
