Do u like your warranty? The Exedy Stage 1 is the closer clutch to stock appearence and will not put as much abuse back to the drivetrain.

Im also looking for a clutch. I want to maintain the car as stock as possible but I also want a clutch that is better and more efficient than the stock one. Car is still under warranty dont want to mess that up....yet! But the clutch has to be good enough to handle up to 300Hp. I want to hit that mark once warranty is done and my income is better. At the same time I dont want to put to much stress on the drivetrain because of an aftermarket clutch. Thanks!

A good clutch that fits the same bill as the Exedy Stage 1 but with more clamp load and stock appearing is the RRE no name clutch that looks just like the OE unit but offers the same clamp load as the ACT MB7-HDSS

WOW! Thanks. Thats exactly what I was looking for. Does anybody know how many miles that clutch is good for. Mitsu told me that the evo stock clutch under normal driving will last up to 28000 miles that seems extremly odd to me being that I have owned three manual cars and never in my life have I had to change a clutch every 30000 miles. Wanted to see what you guys think of this. Also what would be a good flywheel to compliment this clutch. Thanks Again Guys!

all depends on your driving habits. some stock clutches have lasted people over 50K, some have been toast in less than 5K.

I have seen a thread on here with a car with 90k on the stock original clutch. That must take some reserve.

I decided to go with an exedy stage 1. Can anyone recommend a flywheel that will compliment this clutch setup.

break in is actually 200-300 miles on the ACT site..i have the exact same clutch/flywheel combo...it doesnt rev any quicker then the stock one since the stocker is only13.5 lbs..the prolite is 10lbs...i pretty much broke it in 250 miles..and took it to the track...its held up fine

Thanks Guys! I decided to go with the same ACT setup as this write-up. It seems to be the most popular. And people seem to like it a lot. Must be for a reason.

Also in the market for a clutch here... After my first day of AutoX, it looks like shes done. BTW: I think mine is stock, with 46k on the odo. Just bought the car a little over a month ago, so Im guessing its stock.

I cant seem to find any clutches for an evo on no limit's website. Whats the deal?
