Maybe a better picture of the Passport Installed by the rear view mirror....... Sorry, the server gets slow and I duplicated the pictures... I'll do better next time

Old thread I know but I would like some pics of how to hard wire this exact unit, low and center which is the best spot for it, the higher the worse it is. I want to tuck the wire behind the dash and then hard wire it, the hard wire part I am unsure of.

I did this with my passport 7500, and also will do it with the valentine one. it's really pretty easy, you need a phone cord, mount the radar detector in a good position. not too high you need the rear sensor pointing out the back window. then run the cord how you wish to have it. cut the clip off. wire it at the fuse box, i just used to ignition to it powers on when i start the car. if you still having issues, just take it to a car stereo installation place, they can do it probly 10min. and i dont think would charge you anymore than $20

Can someone elabrate on this please, With pics on the install and wiring it in. I don't know how to just wire it in, If someone could be as specific as possible that would be very helpful
