Forge BOV Backwards Install??

I just picked up a new forge recirculating BOV from Vivid today, and the guy told me to install it backwards, to guarantee no boost leak... What do you guys think about that?

Er, no, you don't install it backwards so that it doesn't leak. It doesn't leak anyway unless you're running 40psi. Not sure why they would tell you that.

It will work backwards, but it should be installed properly.

thanks, i installed it properly, the "correct" way haha...

it works fine, i pushed on the BOV and it wasn't showing any sign of giving beyond some serious pressure...

The guy must be driving a vw 1.8T because a few people in that group actually prefer to install their DV backwards
Dont ask me why

I had to install mine backwards because it wouldn't fit any other way. The vacuum hose wasn't long enough and I didn't have any extra. It ended up working perfectly well, and I don't get any flutter unless I'm on the freeway.
