The front o2 wont effect your OLF, so no worries on that. I would really take advantage of 30psi on that turbo if i were you

You won't be changing the o2 sensor all the time. I have now had my Evo for 2.5 years and have raced the dog mess out of it, often times on leaded race gas, but my o2 sensor still works. I don't run full tanks of leaded all the time - I always have it mixed with pump gas for daily driving and only run straight 112 for racing purposes, which is short term.

boost question

Warr,

I have a question along those lines. I have a 06 MR with every bolt on from Buschur (Buschur actually did the work and tuned it). I have a drum of C16 coming for a few drag events coming up. I just finished a track day so I am still on my 93 Oct/ 21lbs. of boost. I see that you were mixing 50/50, etc. Any reliable advise for raising but not overboosting without running a full tank of C16? David B. told me to run straight C16 and I could run 25-26lbs reliably but I don't measure my AF.

Thanks,

Brian

C16 is very potent. If you wanted to get max power, you'd do straight C16 with a C16 tune. If you just wanted extra power without retuning and without pushing the car to the max, you could do a 50/50 mix of C16/93 and run 25-26psi all day long at the drag strip. You could probably even get away with a 3:1 ratio of 93:C16, since it's so potent, but it really depends on how you plan to use this.

Thanks. I was just curious why David told me to make sure I drain out everything then run the C16 straight to run 26 or so PSI. Since I am not monitoring knock I just wanted to know what was safe. Since I run a company I am having VP send the shiat directly to my loading dock so i can fill up here before I head to the drags next weekend. I just want to make sure I am not going to knock or F something up.

David is very conservative and safe when giving out advice like this, so you can expect recommendations on the low end of the spectrum. Some would tell you to run 34psi on 100oct or so, but I think 25-26 is perfectly ok with a mix of C16 and 93. I have never used higher than 112 in my Evo, and it was always mixed with either 91 or 93 while running 25psi or so. I run 26.5psi daily on alky + 91, so...

Good to know. Just wanted to make sure I didn't grenade this thing before it has 2000 miles on it.

Have a good weekend,
