Race Gas
That's great if you guys are able to put leaded race fuel (110+) straight into your car, but it's still illegal for the gas station to allow it. They should have a sign saying "not for street use" or "for racing purposes only." Something along those lines, which is why I have to take my fuel jug each time to get it.
Dnealy, sure, I'd like to see a pic of you pumping leaded gas into the car if you ever get around to it and feel like doing it.

warrtalon, not everybody is a genius like you...sry im not obsessed with my car. if you look under the my name it says newbie...and you of all people should know what that is. i make threads so people can answer my questions about the car...i ask the questions bc i dont know the answers... at our gas stations it goes 89,91,93...and all you people talk ab is 91 so i didnt know if there was a reason yall werent putting 93, i asked and i got an answer....thats all

you aren't supposed to pump leaded into your car but dudes working at gas stations aren't exactly putting forth that extra effort to make sure you don't.
Of course I assume it's unsafe to do which is the reason for the rule but people are going to do whatever they can get away with to save some time. I personally only run 100 octane unleaded occasionally on the street, still haven't run any at the track.

Can you guys be a little more specific about the tuning for 100 octane? I have a source for the stuff but I'm not sure how to tune for it. I just need a little direction.
Here are my current modifications:
3" exhaust with HFC
Fuel Pump
272I/264E GSC cams (stock gears)
MBC
Here's how my tune is now: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...69&postcount=9
What boost can/should I run on the 100 octane? What AFR and timing can I run? I realize that I can watch the knock levels to help me out.

We have a shell station here that has 110 leaded turbo blue at the pump. The nozzle is larger than a normal gas pump but if you press it flat against the hole it fills the car just fine not even a drip. The price is $4.50/gallon. I normally put 5 gallons in the car and then take a few 5 gallon containers back home with me.
Leaded race gas is dirty fuel. Even with a 50/50 mix you will see the dusty gray residue on your bumper after one trip to get milk! I wouldn't run the leaded stuff with a cat and I wouldn't tank after tank after tank of the stuff.
I've run about 100 gallons through the car but I only run 5 gallons at a time for weekend racing or lapping days. Normally I run my 93 octane tune which helps the O2 sensor lifespan some. My sensor is still fine but it does show gray residue as does my entire exhaust system.
My favorite part of leaded race gas is the smell.

I took my car into the dealer last Wednesday to pick up some replacement windshield wiper blades. The service mgr. asked if I had Turbo Blue in the tank. I said no, it was just 93 0ctane. I have a test pipe
i love the smell of turbo blue! no one seems to have ever used it in their car tho and ive asked all around, so im gonna go for it this summer and see how it goes
There is no direct answer. You can run whatever boost, afrs, and timing you want as long as you don't knock. It's not something you just guess at. You would need to monitor and log everything while getting retuned and setting the boost. When it's at a boost level that you're comfortable with and has no knock activity, then you're fine.
If you can't retune, then you can at least run 24-25psi the way it's tuned now if you use 100oct.

oh yeah and I'll be selling VP fuels so c16 will be cheap
