I can only boost to 15 psi

I know its redundant because of the other 11psi thread but I too have a boost problem.

In first and and second I will only boost to 15 psi. In third it will go to 17 or so. In fourth it will get to 20 for a second. I'm not sure what is going on, but my feeling is that something is probably not plugged in right or something like that, because it books it untill 15 and then stops there the rest of the way. Spoolup seems normal just missing the last 25% of boost.

Intake snorkel is prolly lifting under full boost. Check the two plastic fasteners that are supposed to be holding it down make sure the snorkel is secure.

I'm having the same problem... It just started one day out of the blue... I've tried numerous things to fix it and nothing seems to work. I'm taking my car to TurboTrix to have them look at it, but couldn't get an appointment for 3wks.

Maybe buy a MBC and turn it up to see if that works?

Bump for what? You got your answer. Unless there's more that you haven't mentioned, there's not much else to say.

We always boost less in lower gears than higher gears, and if you have no boost controller, then you're at the mercy of the stock boost control solenoid.

You also could have a boost leak. Did you do a boost leak test before posting?
