ohh mann.

Chad, your thread was good until the third page....sorry fella.

i just read 3 pages OF BICKERING ABOUT WHOS 3" PIPE WAS BETTER....?!?!?!?!

why is it that no one has tested a HELIX exhaust, dp, and hfc?? everyone wants to see different power concerns. id like to see a HELIX system tested against the others. hfc and test pipe.

it was great and refreshing to see an honest test against the exhausts. thank you. now back to work..

Chad,

As you know we are within a fairly close distance of each other. Maybe we can work together on getting results for a bunch of exhausts and making an index like thread that gives everyone a round about number of what a lot of these exhausts can produce. Shoot me a PM if you would like to discuss the possibility of doing something like this.

Also, maybe ALL vendors can be involved in something like this. Seeing how we are all part of a community, maybe we can start acting like it.

Well I dont agree with what alot of the Chinese brands have done, but you cant argue they can make basically the same product for less. Some of the major vendors just dont like these tests because it may prove an inferior ebay exhaust could make just as much power and that would hurt their business. Al, no doubt on your great tuning skills but your people skills on this forum sometimes reflect badly on yourself and I think thats why some people dont agree with how you conduct yourself. Anyways thanks for the test CBRD, its nice to see unbiased tests that arent trying to shamelessly sell there own products. I think people would really enjoy seeing some of the other tests you are thinking about.

and

i think we may need to change our wording with "ebay" exhaust or o2 housing etc...

im guilty of it too.... if JAM puts a 2.3 block on ebay.... is it junk? or if i sell my evo on ebay and someone buys it, is it junk because it came from ebay??

not sure how we need to classify the items that are being discussed... but i think anything now that says "ebay" is developing a negative connotation.

other thing, im starting to believe that a few of these exhausts my be factory rejects for large name brand companies... almost all of them have small dents etc in them.

That was my car. Thanks for the Uber tune Chad. The knock count was -0-! I posted the numbers in the STU thread and the weeping and gnashing of teeth is starting already. I can't wait to see what it'll do on GT100 fuel.

Have fun at the par-tay tonight.
