Yep, doesn't exist, UNLESS you feel like taking a drive to Works and have them install one for you (only one available) since they don't sell them to anybody unless you bring your car in, and have them do the install (that is if they even offer it anymore).

no they won't. but i really preffered the feeling of shifting in my viii with a short shifter, versus the stock one.

and i never missed second once i got a short shifter and shifter bushings.

now that i have my xi i wish someone else made them for the 6spd though.

6 speed shift feels just like B&M short shifter on 5 speed.
we 6 speed dont need short shifter. it actually shifts smoother and easier.
just shift fast ~

Upgrade your under hood and base bushings and it may satisfy you with improved feel. 6 speed is precise and short as is.

The 6spd is not short at all - it's actually very long. However, I never had a problem shifting it extremely fast, and it was never a cause for missing shifts.

6spd is not very long. compare to stock 5spd its shorter.
thats why u cant find any aftermarket short shifter,
6spd is butter smooth just like STI shifter

What are you talking about? The 6spd shifter is VERY LONG. It's almost like a school bus shifter. It is not shorter than the 5spd, and the reason there aren't short shifters for the 6spd is because of the reverse lockout ring, not because it's "shorter."

I have no idea where you come up with this stuff. I had a 6spd and now have a 5spd - the 5spd shifter is shorter. Yes, the shifting in the 6spd is smooth, but it's not because of the shifter - it's because of the teflon-coated shifter cables.
