2.5l - 10.25:1 compression - EVO IX motor pictures!
did cp make your pistons with a pin offset or are they centered as cp usually makes pistons?
I have been considering a 2.5 for a while. I am looking forward to seeing your results.

It is probably gonna be in the range of 9000 rpm or something, it is not 2.4 it is only 2.1 so it is destroked. More than likely the car will be on race gas so the 10:25 compression will be fine, engine management works miracles with the right tuner. Hondas do it all the time with that compression.
Nice. Reminds me of my old 10.0:1 2.5L GSX in the days of old (3 years ago). Nothing sounds as nice a high compression turbo car. At the present, we are working on a 383 cubic inch 10.5:1 twin turbo setup for a friend.

Gas is 104 Sunoco unleaded, which provides us with a slightly larger tuning window.

ok, so theres not a 93 octane tune in mind then?
i guess my question was geared more towards the range of 93 octane....like for our car stock you can run 22 psi with out much trouble. i would think that if i took my car and swapped my stock compression pistons for 10.25 i would think it would knock too much at 22 psi so i would have to lower that to lets say 18 psi, but i would get more power at less boost on 93 octane.
sounds like a sick setup though

As well, you would not want a 10.25:1 compression 2.0l piston, it would have a dome on it
however a 2.3l, 2.4l, 2.5l still has a dish at this compression ratio.Mike Huml
