Well the easiest way to access it is............ to install the boost controller properly. Actually that link is pretty nice, but the first step is to take off the intake and air box. Once that is open you'll be able to see all those pictures just as the website depicts.

There should be a few screws holding on the big stock airbox, then a clamp on the MAF. You could actually leave the snorkel connected to the turbo, but if you take the other end off (the air box) you'll be able to reach everything easily. Please make sure your car is nice and cold

Good luck, and have fun! It's really a very easy install, just patience to unplug everything and unscrew things.

the previous owner had a cone air filter put in...so the stock air box isnt there, but now theres the cone air filter and a metal bracket that doesnt want to come undone..the boost control solenoid is hanging from the bottom of this bracket..

i can get the cone filter off, but then how do i get the maf pipe off?

cone / hex screwdirver and it should pop right off.
maf / connector / hex screw driver
intake / long 10mm socket - this could be a biotch if you never took intake out. the best way for that is to take the fan out, why? because the way they bracket sits.

the best way to take it all brackets out / use 10mm socket or smaller. (stock is 10mm) bracket screws

and be-carefull our side fan is like a razor blade :-z

the easiest way is from under the car, you dont need to disconnect anything in the engine at all, except the hoses running from your solonoid to your wastegate and turbo nipple. If you take off the plastic underpiece, and go on the passenger side wastegate and turbo nipple hose T will be littery abouty 6 inches from your face. Just disconnect the T-fitting, cap both lines off to going to solonoid, and run fresh new lines to your wastegate and nipple and zip tie everything down. Takes like 15 minutes.

pull the whole intake pipe off from the turbo, gives you plenty of room to work with

not enough though, you still have the fan in the way along with other parts that make it hard to work with. Under the car is so so easy. you dont have to reach far like you do if you did the work from untop.
