boost problem

Adjust the tension of the BOV. It's probably sprung too loose right now, causing it to leak.

ill try to adjust the tensioner...but i never touched it just took it off and put it back on...might do a boost leak test if i got time...i got buschur UICP coming in friday so i may just wait

what else could be wrong??

anything else im not checking can cause a boost leak??i can hear it leaking...but all my lines and vac tee are brand new..upper piping is on,BOV is on,anything else?

Dude change the Bov to see if that's the problem. Just like hondafan said...
even the best of things break or go bad sometimes.

i dont have a extra BOV!!

and i doubt it went bad on me when i took it off...something has to be wrong...its not just got quit on me after i take it off

please do a boost leak test before doing anything else. then you don't have all the engine noise and trying to listen where it's leaking from, you can pinpoint exactly where it's leaking and go from there.

well i got buschur UICP piping coming in friday...im gonna boost leak check it then and see...i dont want to do it now...find out its bov,fix it then have to take it off again to put on the new piping...

so im gonna install the piping,IAT sensor and tial bov and do my test...who know maybe my piping is leaking,who knows
