I think b/c of the stock turbo's effciency the 272's would be the best option...unless you have plans of upgrading.

^^^ You are probably right, I am alot happier with my setup since I took off the 20G-8 and put a IX turbo on. It just depends on your power goals.

A tuning company told me that 280 cams are better meant for cars with a piggy-back or standalone, so you can fine tune it. But then again iv'e seen them on cars with just a reflash.

272 or 280

If your going bigger turbo than get the 280's . They should benefit you and you may not have change again.

Really con't go wrong with 272/272.

Can Idle pretty much like stock with a good tune too.

FWIW, the terms '272' and '280' are largely meangingless unless one is comparing two cams from the same manufacturer. One manufacturer's '272' may be much more aggressive than another's '280'.

FYI

theres not a huge HP difference, so i would just go with the 272's for driveability purposes

Go with the GSC S1. cant got wrong with them. I think there is a vendor does the comparison and it shows that the GSC S1 > HKS272.

I have HKS 280 intake/272 exhaust cams put on by Vishnu and I love them. Don't feel like the driveablity is at all hurt and they sound awsome. They got a real cool lope to them!

im looking to buy comp 280s. they seem to make 15whp more than hks.and i read somewhere that if you get comp 280s and cam gears set the cam gear to -4 on the intake side and gain around 20whp. there only about 400$ too.

I'd say go with the comp 280's with the fidanza cam gears and play around with the torque...thats the best part about the 280's apart from the HP difference....

280's FTMFW!

by the way, the idling is meant for REAL MEN with REAL CARS!
When you put em in, that baby will idle like a hot rod.
