20gLT vs 3076

I've searched high and low and I still can't find what I'm looking for. I know both are good turbos but which one would be a better choice or which one would u guys rather have? I'm not planning for a stroker and no meth either. Just pump and race gas. I have all the necessary mods to complement the turbo. (I'm getting my clutch soon beforehand, then maybe swap for a turbo afterwards)

Any opinions and/or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanx

what do you want out of your car??? I have the 3076r and love it. if you want to autocross them the lt will be better, if you want to drag race them the 3076r will be better.

i think a 50trim would be a better ,match up.

a 50trim vs a 3065, 3071, 3076

when each hits full boost on pump and pump meth or race gas
power graphs ect.

but the 20glt does seem to be your best bet. enjoy

I prefer drag over autox. What or who made ur 3076, Todd? A/R and whp output? Pump, Race or Pump/Meth combo? And finally, mods?

I had a 3076 and really liked it, but I would get the Green if you're not going to run meth. On our local dyno, the Green maxes out at about 350 whp on race gas and the 3076 hit 400 (both on an EVO VIII) with similar mods. However, without meth or race gas, the Green made more power with a better power curve as well. The 50 Trim may be better than both, but I haven't seen any results locally yet.

I was actually going to put a 50 Trim on my Buschur kit so I could see how it compares to the 3076, but a friend had a 35R sitting around that he gave me a deal on.

FP Green. It can max to 500whp and 500 torque with a 2.0L on a Dynojet, but you need to run like 35psi to reach those numbers. It also has stock like spool.

What kind of dyno was it? Was it Dynojet? If so, that seems a little low for a Green since I already put out 360whp on my stock turbo on race gas.

Wow,

this is my little research also!!!

until now the Evo Green hasn't made me a fan... knowing me, i will want to change the turbo again after six months...

until now the 3076 or 3037s is my best bet, however AMS with the test on a cossie cammed IX made a GT35R spool from 4500rpm on 91!!! and that's impressive...

still searching...

i was in the same boat as you. I went with the Green because you really don't find anyone with good 1/4 mile times with the 50 trim or any GT30 turbos for that matter. Yes they are out but few and far between.
