20gLT vs 3076
exactly!!!
my plans are:
1. tranny
2. suspension / wheels
3. turbo...
Now for the video posted...
My point exactly...
i prefer to go big at once... i am more of a strip type of guy than a city racer, so low end torgue is not a priority...actually now with my setup i find it a bit annoying... i have my max torgue at around 3400rpm (360ft-lbs at 22psi on a DD) and i get the 22psi at around 3100rpm... You press the gas to pass in the city, it immediately spools and all of a sudden all hell breaks loose!!! Don't get me wrong it is awsome but i have scared many people in the car without wanting it!!!
With a big turbo spooling at even around 4000rpm i am happy... if you need to pass, simply.... downshift and floor it!!! a GT35R might be too big for my stock block and use, the 50-trim maybe a bit small... well in between there is the 3076.....

ok let me ask this. at 26+psi on a 50trim what rpm will it hit that boost or full boost at??
same thing for a 3065 turbo. and how much laggier is a 3065 then a 50trim??
i want a 50trim but i dont know if a 3065 is better for my needs as i dont feel the 50trim will give me what im looking for. the only reason i want to 50trim is because how well and how close to stock spool it spools up. anyone with info on these to setups?

well there is this thread with a fella who built an EVO IX with cossie cams and a buschur FP3065 and got awsome numbers...
search for the thread. Very nice post with a LOT OF useful info and well as a review of the owner after driving the car for a while!

A 3065R will give you 25psi at around 4k-4.2k.
The 3065R will make the same power as a 35r up till 30psi, and that's where the 35r will make more. So, on pump and meth, they should be really, really close power wise. The 3065R will just spool faster.

You should search for J-rod's car, (Buschur) he uses a 3065R and makes awesome power.
IMO I think it's the best turbo for the stock block, running pump and meth.
With a built block and race gas the 35R would be better, but also laggier.

Ha! your video thread sure did get deleted fast!
Nice video BTW!
Yeah, the EvoGreen had the one car jump on the GT30 from the low-end torque hitting, but got walked every time by the GT30's greater top-end HP...
I thought the Green would have done better, given the 29psi vs 25psi for GT30r.
That Green turboed car needs cams - then video the rematch!

Will happen, then i will repost it differently to avoid that *****. BTW the EVOgreen is getting retuned this weekend, expecting to find about another 30 whp afterwards accoring to the tuner.
Cams are subject to being installed once he finds more information regarding the GSC ones VS cosi's.
Thanks for the props
Yeah, that's one of them, here's a couple more.

The first one, is the most recent. A little over 500whp on Buschur's dyno. Which is around 565-575 on a dynojet. At the bottom of the thread is a 35r overlayed the 3065r dyno sheet, you can see they make similar power at those boost levels, but the 3065r spools faster.

Here a link to a stock block, stock head, with Stages 1-4, and with a FP Green Evo. 430whp at 33psi on Buschur's low reading Mustang dyno. That would roughly equate to 495whp on a typical Dynojet. With two more psi it will be 500whp on a Dynojet.
