Turbo Mods??

Hey i have a 2003 8 and i have the following mods done to it:

3"TBE
Hallman MBC (23psi)
Small Bat Upgrade
Pina Intercooler
Full Intercooler Piping
Greddy BOV
Wahlbro 255 Fuel Pump
680cc Injectors
EcuFlash

I just got offered a turbo equivilant to a gt32r and a 38mm Wastegate for 900 Bucks and was wondering what would have to be done besides the turbo, manifold, and downpipe.
My question is what other mods would go good with this system and make it work?
Is there any other mods that have to be done to make it work?

Thank you!

I would also get bigger injectors so 880's so if you ever wanted to go bigger your already set. Some type of cam 272's or better. A meth kit as everyone else would say. And a AEM.

Oh yea swap out the greddy bov with a tial holds boost way more better then that one.

You should be in the high 400whp range with the added mods on pump gas. With pump and meth you should max out the turbo around 500whp or so. It will be a nice ride.

I would look into buying a premade manifold just that you know it proven and not a one off piece that might not flow as good. I would recomend a peak boost or a full race they dont cost as much as the others and they look and work great.

Good luck

Oh yea and some type of clutch you dont have to do it right away because stock will hold a good 400whp with no problems. But when it does crap out your down time is not that long i would look into a twin disk setup.

Like i say do it right the first time or dont do it at all.

Thats because people dont know how to launch, not because they have to much power. They are destroying the clutch with pisspoor launching, and no clutch will hold anything after you burn every little bit of materal off it.

Good advice here. I've never heard of a Pina intercooler, but as long as it flows better than stock...
A standalone wouldn't be necessary, but will obviously net you a lot more control and more power in the end.

I agree with a good Tial BOV, and some HKS GSC or even JUN cams. All depends on where you want your powerband; do your research!

Also, I'd never run an upgraded turbo - let alone a standalone - without the appropriate monitoring gauges. If ya don't, get a Boost, EGT and A/F guage for the cockpit. Just nice to haves and all.

If you haven't upgraded your brakes, I'd suggest that. With the added power, you need to make sure you can stop it!

^I hope you are not talking about me.

Just because your clutch lasted 30k miles doesn't mean all of them will. Especially with no problems at 400whp like you claim. Search for stock clutch problems. You would be amazed.

And assuming you were talking about me, you are making an *** of yourself. You have never seen my driving, and you are already making assumptions. Great.
