Mine does not have that, I know the originals had an external heat sink, but that looks like someone installed a mount.

As far as a new pump, try calling Steve at SMC. http://www.smcenterprises.com/ Some of the best customer service around. I just sent him my pump and controller a couple weeks ago. I had the pump seals upgraded and he made changes to the software on the controller so I could achieve 125psi with a M15 nozzle. Did it all for free and got it back to me in a timely manner. He could also answer your questions about the V1/V2 differences and may have a solution so you can upgrade.

It clearly looks to me that the previous owner had a mounting bracket, that is all. I could be wrong but that was my .2c

It is not any kinda bracket. I shoulda took better pix. It goes into the box and possibly connects to the circuit board. 100% a heat sink. Thankx guys.

One way to spot the V2 is that it comes with the dip switches on the right side. As far is your custom wiring to achieve 125psi, WOW, that is rolling the dices.
The pump originally is rated at 35psi but is internally wired to accomodate 100psi plus for a short period of time. Running 125psi sustaining a #15 nozzle must be a huge effort for that pump.

my .2c

When did SMC started coming with those heatsink frames?, I ordered my 3rd SMC kit about 3-4 months ago and did not came with it. Is that heatsink a special custom order?
