Driveshaft Issue - WTF

EDIT: thanks for the info item fixed!

Had a lapping day yesterday.... afterwards I always perform an inspection. Well while inspecting I noticed this:

Where is that oil coming from and what needs to be replaced to fix it?

maybe the grease from the yoke got hot at the track & flung itself out at high RPM?

ive got a similar marking on mine, though im at 40k+ & most of mine is dry to the touch, as if it stopped leaking long ago. if your car is new to the track or low milage it may just be excessive grease from the cars inital assembly working its way out. try wiping it off & see if it reappears, if you see it again, then it may be something to be concerned about

My car has about 30k miles on it. Never noticed this activity before. I actually just put that exhaust on there last week. I see that the exhaust has spray on it as well. Its fresh oil/grease but the driveshaft looks dry. Hmmm

I'm bumping this because I check the car out yesterday and there's even more grease on the exhaust and frame.

Even though my car is under warranty I prefer to make this repair myself. Does anyone have a parts breakout that will indicate the part I need to replace?

It looks like a boot of some kind.

ahhh welcome to the club..you need to replace the boot on the joint. My car did the same thing and it was a pita to get one of the bolts out of it. Dont let mitsu sell you the entire joint (they will) . I think it was somewhere around 50$ for the boot kit
