You missed my point. You were comparing peak boost numbers, peak boost only tells a few things and doesnt have much to do with how much peak whp you are putting down

Topspeed dyno is a 42x that does read about 2% lower than most other dynojets just for everyones info. Those seem like pretty good numbers i made 362 at topspeed on straight pump. Well I did have a small boosting problem though.

Then I guess you missed my point. That extra boost whether it holds it or not has MUCH to do with peak power. Do you see any stock turbo running 22psi making 400whp? NO. You hardly see 370whp ones, however with high boost you will see that and thats with it dropping hard all the way down to 21psi from 28+.

What are the lift specs of your 272 cams fast frank?

The GSC S1 are 10.5 exhuast and 10.8 intake.

If he has HKS 272s, its 10.8 intake (like GSC) and 10.2 exhaust.

Word, that stuff is the bomb, I hope it comes to NJ soon.

Also perfect example. No EVO will run even near 120mph with just 22-23psi max boost on the stocker.

No offense but the Green is a middle of the road turbo. With all the crap you have done I'm surprised you didn't go bigger. That being said I wish I was disappointed with only 400WHP.

Who are you referring to? Also, the Green is absolutely a middle of the road turbo, I dont think anyone is suggesting otherwise.

You must have a monster car to trap 118 with your limited mods! I wish I had your car!

I agree. The Green is a middle of the road turbo. From here, lag starts becoming an issue. I just had my Green installed today and I honestly can not tell any difference in the lag even though there's probably an additional 300rpm change from my 20g-9 so maybe this is about a 4 to 500rpm difference in the stocker.

What amazes me is the difference in the power curve! The car feels like a completely different monster! My best trap is 119 and I know the car will trap higher then that now!

+1^!! I am all about having useable power and will be purchasing a green soon! I dont wanna wait till 5500 rpm's for a torque spike! My car is a daily driver and its nice to have power on tap when you need it, rather than having to downshift. Green FTW for DD's that wanna run 11's!!

honestly i'm slightly disappointed... and may be switching cams soon, feel free to post. Track this weekend, car feels good though.

on a side note, thank you doug! you're the man =]

I have some pretty good comparisons for you. My car has 16g., O2, HKS 264/264, meth, Buschur front mount, 10.5 hotside, upper and lower IC pipes, and all the other typical bolt-ons. Last summer I made 380whp/385tq in 90 degree weather at Topspeed.

Another friend of mine had his white rabbit tuned at Topspeed with I think 272/272 cams, meth, IC etc. and made a little over 400whp with a bad tune. He was running very rich because he didn't have time to get his car optimally tuned.

You should be making around 440whp on that dyno I would think.

Nice my GSC are more aggressive then the HKS 272. Do anyone know if the duration of the cams play an important role in making any power or its mostly just about how aggressive the lifts are?

Yup exactally, if you want a top end monster then get a GT35R. Seriously folks figure out what power level suits you best. Top end all lag monster? no lag mid range monster? Pick one.
