No start after some minor installs
It is getting to the rail but not with any type of pressure behind it. I am wondering if I got some bad fuel and it clogged something. I am going to go tinker with it some more. I have done several fuel pumps and never had a problem like this one.
cam gear sensor on the front right side of the valve cover, i broke mine and didnt realize it check it, looks like the letter l has a plug in on the top and plugs in to your head, mine cracked when i was putting my stock stuff back on if thats the case, it sounds like its not getting fuel but its a safety mode. new ones are 77 bucks from the dealership

im not sure i had a buddy hook his machine to it to show codes and nothing came up, there are three bars in it two broke so techniqually it was still good but it didnt start. the safety mode i have no idea thats what the guy at the dealership said.
Make sure you took every little peice off of the stock pump and put it on to the new walbro. I made that mistake the first time I did my pump, and left the tiny white plastic ring on the stocker, and forgot to move it over. Then the pressure from the pump pushed the rubber ring back down, breaking the seal of the fuel system and letting the gas fall back into the tank. It barely wanted to start, and if you did manage to get it going, it idled like it was on untuned camshafts.
Honestly what good will this do? With the wonderful invention of fuel injection, pumping the accelerator is useless. Back in the day when cars had carbs, priming the jets and fuel lines was necessary, but it doesnt matter now. People who do this really have no clue.
Ok so pulled the pump again for the umbtenth time now it is a pressure problem. Start dismantling everything on the pump and notice the other plug on the pump housing. I know this has absolutly nothing to do with a fuel pump install but I figured what the hell it is the only thing I haven't checked in the pump housing. Well I originally had some freinds pull the pump from the tank. They stopped by to see if I figured it out and as I am staring at the housing just dumbfounded, one of them mentions the other connector. Then proceeded to remove the connector and inside is a O-Ring rolled over itself in the housing. The one part of the project that I didn't have a hand in and it gets f**ked up. Well guess next time I should just keep doing things on my own. Thanks for all the help, I guess I was just fried from working on the thing all day and night.

Glad you got it sorted. Have a beer on me for feeling the same pain I felt
