Baseline of 202 WHP on Dyno Dynamics

I recently went to Vishnu Tuning place and had a Stage 0 installed we first ran baseline on my car which is stock and was running 91 octane. My car ran a consistant 202 which was 1 hp more than the SSC magazine car... Go figure. They were pretty happy to see an off the lot car run the same as a mag car. Needless to say I was happy

If anyone is considering the Vishnu Stage 0, I can tell you I love it. More than just HP numbers the powerband is fantastic... Shiv does a great job smoothing out the lumps and extending the powerband. I got lucky with my car. With 91 octane he was able to gain 20 WHP. But even more pleasing is the power we all feel from 3000 to say 5000 is now 3000 to 7000.. And with a 93octane blend (91 plus 3 gallons of 101) it starts scrambling for traction off the line without any launch tactics

That's awesome! What were your Stage 0 results afterwards? Can you also check and see what your build date is? Is should be on the drivers side door jam area.

Same build as me... lucky dog

I agree about the powerband w/ the XEDE... it's a very overlooked aspect for smooth delivery of power.

I had about 2,700 miles when I pulled up to him.. Only thing I can think of is I used a secret sauce to break in the motor..

Did you keep to the strict break-in procedure (no revs > 5000rpm before 600mi) or what did you do? Inquiring minds ...

Regarding Break-in I took it fairly easy for the first 350 miles and then occasionally ran it to 7000. At 525 I changed to conventional oil............ at 1950 miles (or approximately 1500 miles of moderate to hard break-in driving) I changed back to Synthetic. Im using about one quart per 2250-2500 miles which im told is pretty good.

As mentioned by KK above, it's on the drivers door jam. As you look down theres a sticker right at the bottom facing towards you. On this sticker towards the top is the build date ( month and year only )
