someone needs to develope a 3052 for the evo . . .

i'm probably just a cheap ***** . . . I don't want the lag spoken about the 3065 or the price tag . . .

both are running similar 1/4 + mph . . . 10.8-11.0 @ 128-132mph Green ftw?!?

are there better times for the 3065? i've searched and havn't come up with anything- is it just a highway dominating turbo? from a slow roll or maybe even a dig on a 2.0 and meth which most of us will be running on either of these turbos which should you really get? . . . maybe that last question isn't really well writen . . you know what i'm trying to get at.

(not ment to jack or even slightly jack this thread but it seemed on topic to me_

What's the best a 3065 has run ? best I've seen . . . using "search" is 10.8 I've seen the green run 10.8s too but also 10.5 with slicks. Does anyone have any other times for a 3065? seems like a waste at this point

+1 to my own post, what kind of ETs and trap speeds are people turning out with 50trims and 3065, is jrod the lowest ET for the br3065?? Again it seems like a 4th gear highway 100mph+ turbo and good for nothing else.

someone prove me wrong.

FWIW I have ran both an FP 3052 and an FP Green on my DSM, and I will say that overall the power difference is minimal, but the 3052 definately spools quicker both in terms of intial spoolup, and between gears.

Thats not really a good comparison though because the Green DSM turbo is non ball bearing and the FP3052 is.

I thought it's the same thing with the two turbos on the Evo...

If there's another option out there (FP3052?) that makes the same of more power than the green, but spools faster because of ball-bearings - I'd buy it in a second...

The Green that goes on the DSMs is COMPLETELY different than the Green for the EVOs. Different compressor housings, turbine housings, wheels, etc. The only thing they share is the name "Green" and the fact they are both non ball bearing.

Right, and that is why I started my comment with FWIW, as I knew the two car styles of green turbos are completely different. The green turbo for the DSM crowd is a 50lb/min turbo, the 3052 is a 52lb/min turbo. The Green used the old 50trim compressor wheel, where as the 3052 uses the 3076R compressor wheel. Both have similar overall output, but the 52 spools a tad faster due to BB. Thats all I was adding in, sorry if it doesnt help the evo crowd much. How come I do not see on FP's website, a listing for a Evo based 3065?

I gotcha. You arent seeing an EVO based 3065 because the ones being used in Buschur's "3065" kit is the same exact turbo youd buy for your DSM. Buschur makes a cast manifold that allows it bolt up to an EVO.

I've been talked out of the green and 3065 right into a gt35r, due to the fact it'll be on meth. for pump a 50trim - evo-green/LT will be best.

My recomendation to the thread starter; get the 3065 if you want to go big and don't mind a little bit of lag. 30g-lt/green if you want similar to stock like spool and running pump gas.
