Street Disc vs. Puck Disc

I was just wondering what the difference between a street and puck disc was....if you guys could let me know, it would be very helpful. thanks

street disk = smoother engagement, less chatter (if any), most require 500 miles of break in.

puck disk = harsher engagement (also depends on how many pucks and what material is made of), more chatter, not all of them require to be broken in so you can install it and launch it right away.

when you say 500 miles of break in...you mean just drive 500 miles and its ready to go or what?

500 miles of easy stop and go traffic, no launching or slipping the clutch. the more you use the clutch during those 500 the better. driving 500 miles on the highway in 5th or 6th gear is not considered breaking in the clutch.

no engine braking ither..

man.. from what i've learned street disc's dont shift as well as i'd like. I'm not sure a bout pucks.
