Well, I have seen the DIY where its mounted on the oil filter housing in those 2 bolts and I understand it works well...

But, I did see another DIY where someone bolted the oil pressure sensor on the firewall somewhere and thats what got me thinking...

I was wondering if I could run 2 small lenghts of stainless line and mount the senders underneath the hood, somewhere where more space was available. Does this affect the reading much?

Any opinions on one way vs another?

Thanks!

no it will not affect the readings. personally i mounted the oil temp sender into the oil galley. as for the oil pressure sender i remote mounted it in the engine bay to the left of the engine. i have a stainless line from the oil galley to the sender. pm me if you want me to take some pictures for you
