i forgot to mention i did reset the ecu to get rid of the cell and immediately drove afterwords, could that account for the air/fuel mixtures not being set yet, causing it to run like poopy?

Those are the plugs with the 4 ground straps right?

They suck. Throw those away and get some decent plugs with just one ground strap. I happen to like Denso Iriduims but, there are others that are as good.

Plugs gapped wrong will cause sputtering at high rpms. I had mine gapped at .026 these were brand new and it sputtered at about 5500-5700. regapped to .022 and no more sputtering.

Don't bother reading the propaganda they print on the box. Those plugs are the worst pieces of crap I've ever seen. They would miss terribly in my 240sx that was still NA.

correct gap is .026. alot of people have had good luck with the ngk bpr7es gapped at .026. dont just take them out of the box and put them in, correctly verify the gap and adjust as needed. they should be changed every other oil change
